Vault Transition Update: Enhancing Transparency, Safety, and User Experience

As part of our long-term commitment to improving liquidity efficiency and user experience, NODO will officially transition from the current Vault V2.2 architecture to the new Vault V1.1.2 generation by December 27th, 2025.

This transition marks a major step forward in how vaults are managed, how AI strategies interact with liquidity, and how users retain control over their assets through transparent, on-chain custody.

1. Background: Why This Transition Matters

Since the launch of NODO’s first-generation vaults, we’ve gathered extensive data and user feedback regarding performance stability, transparency, and deposit flexibility. While the legacy vaults (V2.2) have proven effective in yield optimization, they rely on older liquidity aggregation models and limited AI integration pathways.

The new Vault V1.1.2 design addresses these challenges with a focus on:

  • Enhanced efficiency: Faster and smarter AI execution on top of MMT infrastructure.

  • Full transparency: All user actions and liquidity flows are verifiable on-chain.

  • Improved interoperability: Users can access vaults directly via both NODO and MMT interfaces.

2. Transition Plan and Timeline

On 27 December, 2025, The new V1.1.2 vaults will go live, fully operated under MMT’s infrastructure with enhanced AI logic and transparent liquidity routing.

Legacy vaults will remain visible for withdrawals only, ensuring users retain full access to their funds at all times.

3. Deposit and Custody Clarification

To avoid confusion during the transition:

  • Deposits into legacy vaults on NODO will be disabled after December 27th.

  • Deposits can still be made directly via MMT, allowing users to continue participating in the same liquidity pools under the improved system.

  • Custody and ownership of assets remain unchanged. NODO does not hold or control user funds, all assets are maintained in smart contracts verified on-chain.

This approach ensures maximum safety, transparency, and user autonomy.

4. Benefits of the New Vaults

The new V1.1.2 generation is more than just a technical upgrade, it represents a foundational evolution in how users interact with DeFi liquidity through AI.

Key advantages include:

  • Optimized yield generation through adaptive AI models.

  • Real-time performance updates and simplified data visualization on the NODO dashboard.

  • Reduced operational latency and improved reward consistency. Integrated multi-platform access, allowing users to manage positions seamlessly through both NODO and MMT.

5. Commitment to Safety and Transparency

All vault operations continue to be fully on-chain and non-custodial, ensuring users’ assets are never under third-party control. This transition aligns with NODO’s broader mission to build a transparent and data-driven liquidity infrastructure, empowering users to monitor, verify, and optimize their capital in real time.

6. Looking Ahead

The vault transition is a key milestone toward NODO’s next growth phase, a more decentralized, AI-augmented ecosystem that delivers long-term value to every participant. By working closely with MMT and other ecosystem partners, we aim to redefine how liquidity strategies are deployed and experienced in DeFi.

Stay tuned for upcoming announcements and technical details about the migration progress.

FAQ

1. What is happening on December 27?

On December 27, 2025, NODO will complete its transition to the Vault V1.1.2 generation. Legacy vaults (MMT SUI/USDC, MMT WAL/SUI, MMT DEEP/SUI) will stop accepting new deposits on NODO. However, users will still be able to withdraw their funds anytime.

2. Can I still deposit after December 27?

Yes, you can still deposit, but directly through Momentum (MMT) instead of the NODO interface from 7 December

However, deposits for the legacy vault MMT SUI/USDC, MMT WAL/SUI, MMT DEEP/SUI will be permanently closed after December 27.

All deposits made through MMT into the new AI-powered vaults will continue to be secured and managed by NODO’s smart contracts.

3. Will my funds remain safe during this transition?

  • All assets remain fully on-chain under NODO’s custody.

  • The transition only changes where you make deposits, not who holds or manages your funds.

  • NODO continues to ensure contract safety, liquidity stability, and performance monitoring.

4. Why are deposits for the legacy vaults SUI/USDC, WAL/SUI, and DEEP/SUI disabled after Dec 27?

These vaults are running on the older version (V2.2).

They will continue to operate normally, your funds remain active, generating performance as usual.

We’re only disabling new deposits because the upgraded AI-powered vaults (V1.1.2) will launch around December 27, offering improved strategies and efficiency.

Existing positions remain fully functional and safe.

5. Are my funds safe in the old vaults?

The legacy vaults will remain active and secured under NODO’s audited smart contracts.

You can withdraw anytime, and all vault operations will continue as normal, there’s no change to your positions.

6. Why move deposits to MMT instead of NODO?

The MMT platform provides a more optimized interface for deposits and performance tracking, while all vault custody and smart contract layers remain secured by NODO.

This integration makes it easier for users to interact with upgraded vaults directly

7. I’m still at a loss in my current vault, should I withdraw now or stay?

You can keep your funds in the current vaults; they’ll continue operating and generating performance as usual.

If you prefer to experience the new AI version, you can withdraw and deposit into the new vaults once they go live on Dec 27.

It depends on your strategy.

⚠️ Important Note:

Users are responsible for their own investment decisions, including risk tolerance and stop-loss management. NODO Vaults do not provide financial advice or take responsibility for users’ choices to withdraw or stay in any vault.

8. Is this upgrade related to any issue or risk?

No. This is a planned system upgrade aimed at improving performance and efficiency through MMT integration.

All existing vaults remain stable and secure, this transition simply prepares for the next AI generation.

9.Will I still get BRICS rewards if I stay in the old vaults?

Yes. BRICS rewards will continue for users who remain in the current (legacy) vaults.

These vaults still operate normally under the existing version (V2.2), and your rewards are distributed based on performance as usual.

The only change is that new deposits will be disabled after December 27, as we prepare to launch the upgraded AI-powered vaults (V1.1.2).
